Westfield Washington School District
School District Overview:
Westfield Washington Schools served 5,887 students during the 2008-2009 school year. The district consists of six elementary schools that provide education for students in kindergarten through fourth grade; one intermediate school for students in the fifth and sixth grades; one middle school for students in seventh and eighth grades; and one high school for students in the ninth through twelfth grades. Westfield High school operates under a 3x5 trimester plan, giving students the opportunity to earn up to 15 credits per year. And ISTEP scores for the Westfield Washington Schools are consistently higher than the state average.
The Westfield Washington School District offers before- and after-care programs during the school year, school breaks, and the summer. It also provides care for the toddlers of teachers through the TOTS program. Summer camps, sports camps, family nights, concerts, book fairs, Youth Opportunity programs, and job fairs are also available for students in the Westfield Washington School District.
